What is staking? You lock VETS for a period of time to participate in the token utility layer and receive rewards.

Why it matters: Staking gives VETS a clearer long-term use path beyond simple acquisition or speculation.

Is it safe? Tokens remain in your wallet and are locked via secure Solana smart contracts.

🪙 How to Get Started

1. Install a wallet like Phantom or Solflare.
2. Fund it with at least 0.05 SOL (~$5 USD) to enable transactions and faucet eligibility.
3. Get VETS tokens using the Get VETS page and verify the mint before transacting.
4. Return to this page and choose your staking option.

Note: Early withdrawal forfeits 50% of earned rewards. This protects the long-term staking pool and discourages short-term churn.

• Lock periods: 30, 60, 90, or 180 days
• APR: 2% – 10% based on duration
• +1% bonus for verified veterans
• +2% bonus for holding a VETS NFT
• Early withdrawal = 50% of rewards forfeited
